Indonesia is a rich country with tremendous resource potential, from 17.504 islands, 1.340 ethnic groups, 721 regional languages, cultural potential and religious heterogeneity, Islam, Cahtolicism, Hindu, Protestantism, Buddhism, Confucianism and othe potential that illustrates plurality and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. These riches make Indonesia a potential big and developed country. On the other hand, whit a population of more than 263 million, and moreover Indonesia will face a demographic bonus in 2045 which implies the emergence of various problems, such as poverty, health, crime and so on. This problem requires Indonesia to work hard in order to get out of the problems it is facing. Indonesia with its potential must be sure that it can overcome the complexity of the problems it faces. The key to the existing problem is an educational program designed to produce quality human resources to act as agents of change to achieve physical and mental well-being. This study aims to determine the relationship between the education sector as a process of empowerment with human resources as it output. This research is qualitative whit descriptive method. The expected result from this research is that education plays a role in creating quality human resources as assets for national development.
